Try KATALYST now + CAD generation breakthrough

We are thrilled to announce the latest updates to KATALYST, our CAD assistant and to be giving you access to KATALYST now, for free.

Try KATALYST now

Join our beta now with this register link.

KATALYST is currently best supported by any modern browser on Windows and Linux, while on Mac OS we'd advise you to use either Firefox or Google Chrome.

You will get enough free credits to try it out. For now there is no way to buy more credits, but we will happily give some more if you ask us directly.

This link will cease accepting new registers after 100 people have used it. Feel free to send it to anyone you know who you think has to try KATALYST.

Introducing Advanced precision

Before recently, KATALYST was able to convert STL, Pictures, PDFs and text queries to parametric CAD models, in a cheap, fast way, but with very limited realism, yielding simplistic results. Despite that of course, it would give as standard and as realistic results as it can be for what we had specialized it for, such as gears. But it remained limited in its ability to generate complex, unexpected designs.

We are working hard on making KATALYST better for such queries. That is why today, we are happy to announce that a new breakthrough was achieved internally, which allows us to generate models with higher realism and precision, to the cost of spending just a few more minutes on the generation.

Showcasing the two new precision modes available: Base and Advanced. Both were used on the query "a boxed enclosure", a type of query KATALYST is not specialized on at the moment.

We decided to ship theses new abilities to the public beta as well, introducing two precision levels you can pick before generating. Base (low realism, 30s to 1 minute generation time) and Advanced (better realism, 3 to 5 minutes generation time).

See below a video of generating a complex CAD model in under 7 minutes from a vague but also demanding query: "a open frame server rack with 4 stages", using our internal, state-of-the-art, Advanced++ precision:

We are still holding and improving the Advanced++ precision. For now we want to see how much you will use and enjoy the Advanced precision already.
